Join us as we consider accounting and accountability as part of our Framework for Exchange series. In this conversation, we are joined by:

Jack Tan
/ Artist-in-Residence on FACT's Board of Trustees
Matthew Balnaves / FACT Trustee
Lauren Craig / Artist, Curator and Cultural Futurist

The panel consider ways of drawing on other worldviews of accounting to reconsider who and what is accounted for, and the stories they represent. We believe these conversations are vital in allowing us to shift the ways in which an institution is held to account. This session is moderated by FACT’s Head of Programme, Maitreyi Maheshwari.

This event is part of our Framework For... series which began with Framework Resilience, followed by Framework for Trust and then Framework for Exchange. In a previous edition of the series, Jack Tan joined Rachel Higham (Chair of the Board of Trustees at FACT) and Jane Wentworth (expert in cultural institutions) to discuss trust. Accounting and Accountability continues this conversation, questioning how to build, maintain and explore trust through organisational work and policy-making.

The title for these sessions is taken from an artwork, PESTS, by FACT Together artist, Shonagh Short.

Framework For... is made possible by funding from and is part of, a wider research project funded by the European Union, called Artsformation.
