Support Us

We enrich lives and shape the future through film, art and creative technology. Whether working at the centre of Liverpool’s communities, championing emerging artists, or presenting major international exhibitions, the transformative power of creativity is at the heart of everything we do.

As a charity, we need to raise over £600,000 each year to deliver our programme of free exhibitions and events, residencies and learning activities. The pandemic has meant that artists, audiences and communities need us more than ever before. By supporting us today, you are helping to pave the way for everyone to have bright and creative futures.

FACT’s award winning building, which opened in 2003, has played a key role in the development and commercialisation of the historic Ropewalks area of the city. In 17 years, FACT has welcomed over 5 million visitors and commissioned and presented over 350 new media and digital artworks.

Through our learning programme, we work with artists to engage over 18,000 young people and adults across the Liverpool City Region annually. Many of these people live in some of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the country and have little to no access to quality arts engagement. In schools, in prisons and in the community, our work has the power to improve people’s health and wellbeing, increase confidence and raise aspirations.

"It's what all cities should have. FACT is an amazing art centre and place for the community!"

In 2020, during a time of global turmoil and unrest, we have quickly adapted by launching a bespoke programme of online events, virtual exhibitions, residencies and commissions. Faced with isolation, we sought innovation, so that you can discover FACT, wherever you are.

We need your continued support to keep our city-centre galleries open, engage local communities and realise our vision. FACT appreciates every donation, large or small. Here are some ways your donation can help:

  • £5 will inspire school children through tours of our major exhibitions
  • £25 will enable an artist to deliver an intergenerational workshop session with local participants
  • £100 will fund an artist to create a new artwork with prisoners
