Visual Story

Welcome to FACT Liverpool. This visual story will help you plan your visit and prepare you for what you might encounter upon your visit. This guide includes information about the galleries, café, cinema and bar we have inside our arts centre.

We regularly change the exhibitions to offer something new each time you visit. Find out what’s on and what you can expect to see.

We are committed to making our centre accessible to everyone. All areas, including the galleries and cinema screens, are wheelchair accessible. We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and support visitors with a range of disabilities and neurodiverse conditions. FACT is free to visit and we offer free entry to all of our exhibitions, though some events may have a charge. Donations are welcome.

Quiet Hour → Every Sunday from 11:00 to 12:00 in Gallery 2, we vary light and sound levels to offer an autism and neurodivergent-friendly experience. During this time, a Calm Corner is available next to the gallery with sensory materials and colourful bean bag seating. This is not a closed space, but ear defenders can be worn if needed.

Relaxed Screenings → Picturehouse offers relaxed film screenings on the third Monday (from 13:00) and the third Sunday (from 11:30) of every month.

For more information on accessibility, please click here.
