Full Programme

I Move, We Move | 2025 | Sam Hooper

Sam Hooper, a theatre-maker with Down Syndrome, makes his directorial debut with I Move We Move – a vibrant celebration of unity, teamwork, and shared energy, brought to life through spoken word, movement, and music.

Everyone's Bitchin' About Al | 2025 | Alana Wadkin

Alana Wadkin, a creative artist with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy, debuts Everyone’s Bitchin’ About Al, a music video that is the culmination of her work developing a Directing Communication Board with RAWD for artists who are non-verbal. This innovative tool redefines how direction can be communicated - and this film proves its creative power.

About RAWD

RAWD has spent over a decade co-creating joyful, inclusive space where disabled artists can thrive.

They believe creativity is a powerful vehicle for independence, confidence, and expression - enabling people to dream bigger, communicate more freely, and take up space that’s rightfully theirs. In July 2025, they officially launch as a charity. Directing Difference is part of RAWD's month-long programme of events during Disability Pride Month. RAWD welcomes you to come along and join the celebration!
