Cinema in the City: Exchange Station

Cinema in the City returns this February with an unmissable programme of contemporary films and emerging shorts at Exchange Station on Tithebarn Street.

Cinema in the City is making a return in 2024! Our experiential film programme features the best of independent cinema screened in unexpected and unique locations, with previous venues including the Cotton Exchange Rooftop Garden, Lewis’s Building and LUSH. Ahead of each film screening, attendees are treated to a screening of short films from emerging filmmakers from across the North West.

We’re relaunching in February to coincide with LGBTQ+ History Month, programming a weekend of screenings that centre the LGBTQ+ experience. We’re delighted to be popping up at Exchange Station on Tithebarn Street located at the very heart of Liverpool’s Pride Quarter. Join us for a night of captivating shorts and feature lengths that examine the power of art as activism, and themes of acceptance and redemption.

Stay tuned for additional 2024 dates and programme announcements.
