FACT Welcomes Katie Moffat as New Chair of Trustee Board

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Moffat as Chair of our Board of Trustees. Katie is currently Director of Sector Strategy at digital agency Substrakt, where her role is focused on strategic consultancy projects that support cultural organisations with their digital transformation.

An experienced digital strategist, consultant and trainer, specialising in the arts and not-for-profit sector, Katie helps organisations to use digital technologies to reach, grow and diversify their audiences. Katie has previously served as a Trustee and Vice Chair of Abandon Normal Devices.

Katie’s vast experience in and knowledge of the digital sector and her passion for the arts, as well as her strong governance experience, will help to drive FACT’s vision to be a world-leading centre for art, film and the creative use of technology.

Katie joins Vice Chair of the Board Sheralee Lockhart (Director of People and Operations at akt, the national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity) alongside trustees Ruth Catlow (Artist and Curator, Co-Director of Furtherfield), Álvaro Costela Sánchez (Marketing & Communications Manager, Liverpool ONE), Chloe Courtney (Executive Director, China Plate), Jernice Easthope (TV & Film Producer), Maleka Egeonu-Roby (Junior Project Manager of Liverpool City Region’s Race Equality Programme and Member of Merseyside Caribbean Centre), Bea Freeman (Film Director/Producer), and Lisa Middleton (Head of Marketing & Brand, National Museums Liverpool).
