Michael Mann’s visually arresting cult horror brings ancient evil, wartime brutality and Tangerine Dream’s haunting electronic score to the big screen on 35mm.
On the first Monday of every month, FACT presents a specially selected 35mm film. Look closely, and you’ll see the grain, flicker and occasional imperfections of a print that has been preserved, handled and enjoyed by audiences over time. This is the first in an ongoing series of screenings, with many more films to be announced.
One lucky audience member will be invited into the projection room to start the film. Step behind the scenes, see the reels and specialist equipment up close, and discover the increasingly rare skills that bring film to life on the big screen.
