Rae-Yen Song 宋瑞渊 draws on the flux and resilience of the immigrant experience to reimagine the world. For this exhibition, the gallery is transformed into a darkened abyss, suspended somewhere between the deep sea and the skies above. Moving through this landscape, Rae-Yen invites us to reconsider our connections to ecosystems, ancestors, and the cosmos around us.

Music is at the heart of so many of our lives, whether it's something we listen to, create or experience together. LOCAL SUPERSTAR II explores this idea through music, sculpture, film and digital animation in a new installation by artist Seema Mattu. The exhibition follows the formation of Saheli, a sonic entity of five South Asian queer women: Lagnajita Mukhopadhyay, MANI JNX, Ushara Dilrukshan, Zahrah Hutton and Seema Mattu. The work’s focus on sonic joy, musicality and collectivity stems from Seema’s personal experience of musical congregation as seva - Sanskrit for selfless service.
