While exploring, Sara will teach us about field recording and the different ways we can listen to our surroundings, analyse soundscapes and use those sounds in our own arts practice. Sara will also share how she uses found sounds in her own work.

Originally from Norway but now based in Liverpool, Sara Wolff has spent her time collecting bespoke soundscapes for films, sound libraries and her own music compositions. She uses field recordings, tape loops, analogue synths and voice to explore nature, people and their interconnection, and has composed music for projects such as Theresa Skamletz’s dance choreography A Wet Bit Of Sand, the Cities And Memory Adventure project and Olive Pascha’s short film Carrot Cake, created in partnership with the British Trust for Ornithology and EMU films. www.sarawolffmusic.com
