What

Join our Imaginists Society to be part of a brand new video game… In The Box at FACT, you will hear everything about a new video game that artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley and a group of local young people are creating together.

Come along with the family to discover the game! Become a real life video game tester and be the first players to let us know what you think, suggest your ideas and what should be included. You can even be part of the new game yourself, using the same brand new tech as Danielle and the Imaginists!

Danielle is an artist and archivist who uses video games, animation, sound and performance to create work celebrating Black trans people. Find out more about her work at www.daniellebrathwaiteshirley.com

There will also be some more craft-based activities available for those who are younger than this, so the whole family can come along!

Visiting Safely

Our staff will continue to wear face masks within the building and workshop spaces. We encourage visitors to wear a face mask or covering during your visit. To find out more about visiting us safely, please head to our Plan Your Visit page.
