Birds of Paradise Theatre Company and CRIPtic Arts Presentations and Panel
Doors: 10:45. Event: 11:00 - 13:00
In the morning, two of the UK’s leading disabled-led theatre companies, Birds of Paradise Theatre Company and CRIPtic Arts, will give presentations on the benefits, possibilities, and future applications of unique online and hybrid performance outcomes they have developed as part of an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) project ‘A Telepresence Stage for Disability Performing Arts’. This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
This event can be attended in-person or online.

Explorations on a Telepresence Stage Workshop
Doors: 13:45. Event: 14:00 - 15:00
A practical workshop in the afternoon will provide interactive demonstrations and hands-on experience for those wanting to gain more insight into Telepresence technology, solutions and tools.
This session is designed for in-person attendance only.

About DaDa
DaDa is an award winning and pioneering disability and Deaf arts organisation based in Liverpool with international reach and impact. Founded in 1984, they were one of the first disability-led arts organisations in the UK and an integral part of the campaign for greater equality and access for disabled people.
As an organisation they are known widely for DaDaFest International, a biennial cross-arts festival which has nurtured and supported many renowned disabled artists from the UK and beyond since its first iteration in 2001.
