Inspired by the media theories of philosopher and thinker Marshall McLuhan, The Electronic Man is a living example of crowd-sourced content and collective collaboration. The global project has already seen thousands of participants from all over the world collaborate in creating a connected body of their emotional states. Stickers with QR Codes and the image of The Electronic Man have been disseminated in cities across the globe, and people have participated by scanning the codes using their Smartphones and contributing their emotions (from rage to serenity, acceptance to annoyance).
