Also commissioned by animate! projects, Perpetual Motion in the Land of Milk and Honey received its première on television in 2004. The piece re-fabricates the artists' grandfather's lifelong dream to create a perpetual motion device that produces free power. The film includes characters such as Britney Spears and the Lamb of God to form a stunning reflection on the machinery of capitalism and the infinite possibilities of technology.
