Country: United Kingdom/United States

Jaq Walker is an American multidisciplinary Creative Practitioner. His background is in Acting, Applied Theatre, Immersive Experiences and theatre, and Experience Designing. Jaq is the founder of the practice known as Journey Experience Practice or JXP. It is the practice of designing human experiences in environments where the people are the focus in an environment that guides them trough comfort, discomfort, learning, and growth. The people (visitors) become the exhibition and not so much the environment. Jaq created JXP in such way, that it can be applied in immersive experiences, museums, cultural experiences, outdoor attractions, educational projects, and pop-up exhibitions. Jaq isn't a traditional curator. He fuses curating into immersive experience design for contemporary art exhibitions. His exhibition 'People Watch', is currently in development and he's looking for talented filmmakers, costume designers, creative captioners, and tech gurus to collaborate with. Jaq lives in Liverpool's City Centre with his wife Gwen and son Jevon.
