ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project: Design an interactive video game about your Liverpool with artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley.

We're looking for young people to help us create an interactive video game. You will work with artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley to create the Liverpool you want to exist. A city that supports you, your community and your family. As designers, all of your creative ideas and experiences will be included in the game for other people to play and explore. That means the world will be built around your persona and experiences. Within these landscapes your memories, movement and mind will populate the virtual world, creating something that is wholly yours. These will be combined with everyone’s to create a city that stores the existence of those involved in building it. A living archive of you.

  • The artwork will be shown in the gallery at FACT.

  • It will also live online, so people who aren’t in Liverpool can experience your created world.

  • You will be credited for your work.
