New to digital production and 3D? Want to learn the basics of animation and visual effects software Blender? Then this artist-led crash course is perfect for you!
Over three hours, we'll cover Blender basics, including the interface, various modes, simple modeling, and texturing. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to begin creating your own 3D work.
This workshop is led by artist Gregory Herbert, who often uses Blender to create his works. Gregory's artistic practice explores the vast entanglement of interactions that organisms and non-human entities have within their environments, often taking influence from models of collaboration and coexistence.
Please note that you'll need to bring a laptop or tablet to this session. If you would like to request the use of a FACT laptop, reach out to us at studiolab@fact.co.uk.
