Studio/Lab Socials are the best way to discover more about the space and what it has to offer. Meet members of the team, ask any questions, and take a look around the space to explore the various tools and resources.

Socials are also a great opportunity to meet other North West-based artists, curators, researchers and technologists who are all interested in digital art and culture. There'll be free drinks, food, and a selection of tech to play with too.

Front of House takeover

For the next Studio/Lab social on 24 April 2026, we're excited to present a showcase of works by FACT's very own Front of House team. From photography to performance, come and see what our team has been creating!

Writer Jacob Riley's storytelling meets freelance illustrator/designer Katie Pinch's illustrations, in an interactive visual story made using Twine, about a house where objects go missing and turn up in dreams.

Prior Vincent Policarpo, a queer, British-Brazilian artist, presents their painting dancing on glass: for olive (2024), alongside a collection of collages and ephemera from the last decade.

Danny Pye is a researcher, photographer and cross-arts cultural producer documenting communities, and shooting landscapes and situational photography through black and white 35mm film. Danny is presenting CLAP: USA, which documents community-led art and stories of hope.

Performance and visual artist Nexus Techne will be performing live, using both vocals and live instrumentation to create an immersive and atmospheric environment. The artwork is guided by the many spirals that appear across spirituality, nature and cosmology.
