Join us for the launch of Melanie Crean's book A Machine to Unmake You, published in conjunction with the project's exhibition as part of FACT's commission series Resolution. The publication includes exhibition photos, details of the creative curriculum Crean developed for the project, conversations with artists and researchers working with system-impacted participants, and an essay written with Carin Kuoni, Director and Chief curator at The Vera List Center for Art and Politics.

The launch will also include a dialogue with artists who have taken part in Resolution, a multi-year art and research project that invited artists to collaborate with participants from the justice system to create new artworks. The artists will discuss their experiences creating work for Resolution, as well as reflect on the different outcomes.

You can visit Crean's exhibition, A Machine to Unmake You (2019-2024), at FACT until Sunday 2 June 2024.

All event attendees will receive a free copy of the publication.
