Try out game design, VR, and creative writing in our free family-friendly workshops.

Bookings
Selected Saturdays — Free
No need to book, drop in to Do Something Saturdays anytime between 12:00 - 15:00 on 4 November, 25 November, 9 December, 20 January and 3 February.
Inspired by the works of Uma Breakdown and Jenkin van Zyl, our family-friendly workshops investigate the genres of horror and fantasy, and ask you to consider what we need to create spaces of care and support.
We will be exploring game design, creative writing, virtual reality and more.
This season, workshops will be held in a whole new location! Join us in Studio/Lab, a new space for artists to experiment located on the building's top floor.
Do Something Saturdays are free and take place on selected Saturday afternoons throughout the year. These sessions are suitable for ages 6-12. This season, workshops take place on 4 Nov, 25 Nov, 9 Dec, 20 Jan and 3 Feb
Getting here
When you arrive at FACT, please let one of our friendly Front of House team members know that you're here for Do Something Saturdays. They'll accompany you to the lift and help you enter the code that will whisk you up to the third floor of the building, right where you'll find Studio/Lab.
As for the workshop, it'll be held in the last room on the right along the pink corridor. When you exit the lift, please look out for welcome signs that will guide you to the right spot.
