Yu-Chen Wang, one of the artists participating in the exhibition offers families and children a different way of experiencing the exhibition, becoming observatories themselves. It is about from their perspective, how they look at the exhibition.
The first part of the activity will involve observing and collecting: children will be going around the exhibition to identify the target artwork or specific area of interest they have in the show. They record and to document what they see and what they identify interesting
The second part is transfer the collected information through observation drawing to the research centre at the learning space, an online repository linked to Yang’s work and the exhibition.
Workshops aimed at children aged 5 - 8 yrs with their parents or carers.
Designed by: Yu-Chen Wang, artist and educator participating in the exhibition, Wang’s central practice is drawing, allowing her to explore and meditate on mechanical and biological forms. Wang will led 15th July and 5th August sessions.
