Picturehouse are very pleased to welcome the skateboarding, reggae-playing Rastamouse and his crime-fighting crew to your local Picurehouse Cinema as part of our Toddler Time strand.

Based on the popular series of books, each specially curated progamme of Rastamouse episodes has a theme. It might be learning to love reading, getting fit and having fun, pirate adventures, cooking, making music, or (of course) mystery solving – but all the programmes are vibrant, fun and engaging – and carry that special Rastamouse message.

Author Michael De Souza says of his creation “Rastamouse has a positive message for young children, promoting the need to understand what is right from what is wrong, and why, in a meaningful context. The stories focus on finding creative and positive solutions to problems and situations. Through understanding, love an' respect; Rastamouse will always make a bad thing good.”

Keep your eyes peeled - author Michael De Souza will be making a special guest appearances to do some storytelling sessions at some of our screenings – so you can meet the man behind the mouse and ask him all about how he created the much loved character!

If you want to have more fun when you get home, you can download free Rastamouse activity sheets here: http://rastamouse.com/wp/play/ , listen to Rastamouse music for free at http://rastamouse.com/wp/tunes/ and even buy your own personalized Rastamouse album http://www.mixpixie.com/rastamouse/. Rastamouse and Da Easy Crew also want to hear all about how you made a bad ting good – so send any pictures or stories in to them at goodtings@rastamouse.com
