In the Media Lounge, Copenhagen-based art and architecture collective N55 set up SHOP (from 2002), an exchange area with its own alternative economy. An outline of SHOP, among other projects such as WORK, LAND and FACTORY, is written up in a technical manual freely available on the N55 website for anyone to use to stage their own iteration of the project. The manual specifies that SHOP is made up of anything that people would like to offer, which are then labelled in different categories: to be used only at SHOP, can be borrowed, or can be swapped or taken. For the Climate for Change exhibition, N55 have added another category - things that have provoked a change in a person's life.
