Aurora: Reimagining Water

  • 21 September 2018 - 7 October 2018

Aurora reimagines water as the most precious element on earth.

This epic, immersive experience from Invisible Flock will take over the grand, iron-pillared interior of Toxteth Reservoir. Up to 50 people will enter the space at any one time to experience a surprising and astonishing feast for the senses, with artists combining interactive technologies with water to evolve the artwork each day it is live.

This exhibition will be on display at Toxteth Reservoir, High Park Street, Liverpool, L8 8LU. Tickets will be available for £8-£15 at the end of May here on fact.co.uk.

Aurora also includes a series of public events which will take place in L8 during the summer, inviting communities around the reservoir to get involved with creating elements of the final artwork.

There will also be an app alongside the event where users can remotely experience and interact with elements and works featured.

Aurora is commissioned by FACT, in partnership with Liverpool City Council, Invisible Flock and Dingle 2000. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, and British Council.
