Fight Club 1

We are looking for your help in selecting the best films which feature working life. Looking at three themes, Life and the TopLife on the Breadline and Life of an Average Joe, we have selected a shortlist of some of our favourite films from throughout the years.

The winning film from each category will be screened as part of the Time & Motion public programme. To vote for your favourite Average Joe movie, either comment below or get in touch via our Facebook and Twitter. We've also got voting forms on the info desk on the ground floor of FACT.

An ex-soldier struggles with ethics as he attempts to earn enough money to support his wife and kids

Duncan Jones’ Sci Fi fable see’s Sam Rockwell alone on a moon mining base with just his computer GERTY for company.
