The Last Duel [18]

Runtime: 153 mins

Distributor: Walt Disney International

A gripping tale of vengeance and betrayal based on a true story and told in three compelling parts, The Last Duel sets its scene amidst the Hundred Years War in 14th century France. Righteous soldier Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon) is a dutiful squire, content to serve his country alongside his more roguish companion Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver). But when a dispute arises between the two enabled by the behaviour of a contemptuous count (Ben Affleck), Le Gris is accused of an unforgivable act of assault by de Carrouges’ wife Marguerite (Jodie Comer). Now turned against each other, the two brothers in arms must seek justice in a climactic duel – to the death.
