Let’s Make Films (LMF) invite you to join them for an immersive workshop exploring how spatialised sound can elevate your filmmaking.

Bookings
Booking essential — £7
In this session, you’ll experience live demonstrations showcasing how spatial audio works and enhances storytelling across genres. Through hands-on practice with spatialised sound recording, you’ll learn to capture and position audio in a three-dimensional space that draws audiences deeper into your world.
Spatialised audio refers to sound that is manipulated to create a sense of space and directionality. When using this technique, sounds appear to come from different directions and distances, adding depth, emotion, and realism to every scene.
The workshop will cover integrating sound design into your production workflow, from recording on set to mixing in post-production. You’ll discover how precise sound placement can guide audience focus, evoke emotional responses, and create immersive cinematic experiences. Whether working on dialogue-driven dramas, action-packed thrillers, or atmospheric documentaries, this workshop will equip you with the tools and techniques to elevate your storytelling through sound.
