This often hilarious, bittersweet Norwegian comedy focuses on eternal optimist Kaja (Kittelsen), trapped in a marriage going nowhere with the miserable Sigve (Henrik Rafaelsen). Always ready to see the best in people and her situation, Kaja suddenly finds herself with a whole new set of problems when she grows a little too friendly with married neighbour Eirik (Joachim Rafaelsen).

With the action regularly interrupted by a crooning barbershop chorus commenting on events – a deadpan, surreal touch – this razor-sharp farce with a wickedly dark sense of humour is another must-see gem from the burgeoning Scandinavian film scene.
