Volunteer Induction Session: unfold

10 February / 2.30pm - 5.30pm and 13 February / 11am - 2pm

We will be holding our next Volunteer Induction Sessions on Wednesday 10 and Saturday 13 February ready for the opening of our next exhibition, unfold

Please note: places for the session on Wednesday are now fully booked up - please get in touch if you can attend the Saturday session, or if you would like details of future opportunities

The sessions will each be 3 hours long (including breaks) and will cover what FACT does, why we need volunteers, some basic training and an introduction to unfold. You only need to attend one of these sessions, so please let us know which you'd like to attend by getting in touch.

unfold is an exciting new exhibition by Japanese artist and composer Ryoichi Kurokawa, who is using fascinating data captured by astrophysicists to visualise inside our galleries what the birth of stars might look like. The exhibition will be an immersive experience for visitors, bringing together the worlds of science and art.

If you are interested in space, the universe, and want to help us interpret the exhibition for the public face-to-face, this is the volunteering role for you!

Please email volunteer@fact.co.uk for more details and to let us know whether you'd like to attend.
