13 May / 5.30pm - 8pm / Media Lab / £99 per teacher
Join us for an in-depth, hands on session to discover how iPad can be used to enhance marking and feedback opportunities in & outside of your classroom.
Focusing on increasing the speed and frequency of feedback, teachers will learn how to use iPad to increase engagement with students and improve quality of student feedback at the same time reducing teacher marking time by 75%.
Your students will be challenged to go beyond traditional pen and paper feedback, using iPad to collect and comment upon assessment through a truly multimedia experience.
Workflow apps will be demonstrated and linked to practical classroom activities, to highlight how you can engage students with valuable feedback opportunities which yield invaluable responses.
The course is for any secondary school teacher or leader who wants to learn cutting edge, creative ways in which the iPad can be used to motivate and engage students. With clearly defined strategies and examples of success stories, teachers will leave with a wealth of ideas that can be easily transferred to their own curriculum planning and delivery that will help their students further develop through effective marking and feedback.
