Lesions in the Landscape: Exhibition Opening

17 September / 6pm - 8pm / Galleries 1, 2, FACT Connects Space / FREE

Join us for the opening of brand new exhibition Lesions in the Landscape by artist Shona Illingworth. This powerful new multi-screen installation reveals the devastating effects of amnesia on one woman and the striking parallels with the sudden evacuation of the inhabitants of St Kilda in the North Atlantic in 1930.

The exhibition will feature an immersive multi screen installation in Gallery 1, whilst upstairs The Amnesia Museum in Gallery 2 will showcase artefacts which further explore the exhibition's themes of memory, identity and place.

For one night only, our galleries will be open later than usual for you to explore the exhibition, and we'll have a FREE, drop-in Minecraft workshop happening in FACTLab in the foyer! All ages welcome.
