A Public Art Project by Mark Titchner

Newly commissioned artworks by Mark Titchner, exhibited throughout Burnley Youth Theatre will include: two exterior banners on the buildings facade, five banners on lamp posts (Annabel, 2017 & Bethan, 2017) and three video works screened in the entrance foyer (Betty, 2017, Sally, 2017 and Kyle, 2017).
An exhibition of ‘text’ artworks submitted by young people across Burnley (aged 25 & under), as part of our Text Art competition to creatively respond to the question, "What is it that you want more than anything else?" will be displayed in the venues 'room to move' space.
The competition winning entry will be announced on Saturday 15 July at our opening launch at Burnley Library from 12-3pm. Join us and RSVP here

What I want more than anything else by Mark Titchner is commissioned by FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), in partnership with Hull Culture & Leisure Library Service, Inspiring healthy lifestyles and Lancashire County Council.
