Delivered on behalf of Creative England via the BFI NET.WORK in partnership with Wales Screen, Liverpool John Moores University and Edge Hill University, FACT will offer this free six-month programme of workshops aims to support film talent, creativity and diversity in the region. Featuring industry speakers and contributors from across the creative and cultural sector, each workshop session will focus on a specific theme through talks, panel discussions, networking opportunities, screenings and showcases, allowing participants to construct and develop new ideas, or rethink existing ones, and share them with experts and talent across the sessions.
We’re looking for a diverse group of people with different specialities and backgrounds, and with experience in film, animation, TV, theatre, visual arts, music promos, or commercials. The course is intended for those of you interested in making the leap into feature films, and expanding your networks. You will have the chance to meet fellow filmmakers working in the region, and hear from key film industry professionals.
The course will run from November 2016 to April 2017 here at FACT.

All applicants should be based in either the North West of England (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside) or North Wales (Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey and Wrexham).
