Could you spare any time to help us by participating in an
experiment which is part of a Europe-wide research project?
The ARtSense project is looking at adaptive
augmented reality and bio-sensing in a museum setting - in simple
terms that's technology that you wear as you walk round a gallery
or museum and that adapts information based on your physiological
responses.
FACT, along with Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris and the Museum
of Decorative Arts in Madrid are working with research institutes
across Europe (including Liverpool John Moores University and
University of Valencia) to develop these exciting new tools.
Our research team are looking for nine more female participants
(18+) to help test new developments in biosensing technology.
The experiments will be non-intrusive, won't hurt (!) and will
take place in FACT on 14 and 15 August.
We'll need 45 minutes of your time, which involves trying out the
technology and giving feedback. Refreshments will be provided and
it will be chance to meet the ARtSense team and find out more about
the project.
If you are interested in helping us design this exciting new
system, please email clara.casian@fact.co.uk
