The Mediated Garden is a collaboratively curated growing space on the roof of the FACT building. We are holding a speacil hack weekend for the project, inviting bloggers, curators, hackers, film makers, audio gatherers, knitters, painters, writers, speakers, artists and everyone in between to get involved with connecting the garden space with the outside world.

We will be looking at using online spaces, innovative technologies or any kind of artistic practice which we could document and share on our facebook, twitter, flickr and vimeo accounts. You could use social media, technology, live drawing, knitting, cross-stitching, talking, singing, film-making, photography or absolutely anything you feel you'd like to explore as part of a group and would be willing to hold a small workshop on.

If you would like to take part in the hack weekend and have an idea please write us a short description of the activity/workshop along with a budget (very small!) if required and we'll get in contact. We can accommodate up to 20 people on each day. The event will take place upstairs on the top floor of FACT and we will be providing refreshments.
