This is the movie that made John Waters famous, and the film considered to have made glamorous bad taste fashionably cool. The film stars Waters' muse, Divine as Virginia, a large transvestite. The plot revolves around two vile families laying claim to the title "The Filthiest People Alive." The film encompasses everything from pregnant women in pits, grown men gaining sexual satisfaction from chickens, to name but a few incidences of famous bad taste in true John Waters style.
