From the famed Ealing Studios and part of the acclaimed Vintage Classics series, Passport to Pimlico is a whimsical tale of a very British evasion of authoritarianism, written by celebrated Ealing regular and Academy Award Winner T.E.B. Clarke.
When an unexploded WWII bomb is accidentally detonated in Pimlico, Arthur Pemberton and daughter Shirley investigate the crater made by the explosion and discover a treasure trove that houses documents proving that the region is in fact part of Burgundy, France and therefore foreign territory.
In an attempt to regain control, the British Government set up borders and cuts off all services to the area, but the ‘Burgundians’ are determined to not give up their French sovereignty without a fight!
