Bike Buddy

Veterans in Practice are currently working on new creative work as part of the Tagging Communities heritage app project.

For the veterans strand of the project we will be training up volunteers to become lead tandem cyclists with veterans with visual impairments. Participants will work with artists to create cycle routes and produce soundscapes, writing, film and photography of the routes. Soundscapes will be available on CD and for download and distributed to veterans with visual impairments. The final routes and soundscapes will be part of the Tagging Communities app.

Not a fan of cycling? Don't worry, you can still take part! Tagging Communities includes digital and heritage workshops to create audio trails for people to follow. For more information about the Tagging Communities project and how to get involved with either the cycling or the workshops (or both!), check out our project page here
