How does a city and its society change when the (automotive) industry leaves? How can we transform crisis into positive change and create pathways to a better future? The DETROIT-PROJECT revolves around four cities connected through the Opel car brand, and consists of a series of events and discussions in which artists and scientists meet and exchange their experiences and strategies for dealing with current issues of economic change. Mike Stubbs, Ana Botella and Roger McKinley from the FACT team will travel to project partners in the autumn to present the case for positive and managed change from the Liverpool perspective.
