Presented at FACT as an online project on two screens, UKI is a sequel to Cheang's provocative cyberpunk movie I.K.U, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2000. Structured both as viral performance - live coding / live spam - and a viral game on two levels, the project explores sci-fi narratives, traversing between hard and soft, sexual and political and fiction and reality.
