Positioned on the red brick exterior building of WigLe Dance (by Leigh Town Hall car park) a long narrow banner displays the words, “I want a good job when I am older because...” by Saxon Kaye (aged 14). The graffiti style text, predominately in black and white, has an optical, magic eye effect.

Inside Wigan’s bustling indoor market, you will also find the 'Saxon' banner situated amongst the various stallholders. This question made Saxon think about his future and that one day he will have to pay bills, provide for a family and be able to buy things, such as food, everyday essentials and a computer.
“I don’t know what people will think, as everyone has different thoughts and their own minds. I think it’s a good statement; we all want a good job when we are older, because everyone has to pay bills. I want to be able to provide for a family and be able to buy things, like a computer with games, as well as food and the everyday stuff. I am surprised Mark has used my words. I was pretty sure it would’ve been left and not used, because things like this don’t happen. I will be proud if my mum and dad see it”.
Words by Saxon Kaye, aged 14 from Tyldesley.
