Networked Narrative: Northern Powerhouse 2065 St. Helens Central Library

  • 24 October 2016 - 30 November 2016

St. Helens Central Library, Victoria Square, Saint Helens WA10 1HP

Our Northern Powerhouse 2065 exhibition will be moving to St. Helens Central Library. Exploring a dystopian scenario created by young people from Burnley, Wigan and Hull, it introduces the public to ‘artefakes’, objects carefully selected by curators from the future, which provides the audience an insight to the online text adventure game Northern Powerhouse: Last Towns Standing.

Created by Re-Dock and the young people from Burnley, Wigan and Hull, the game explores the reality within those locations in the year 2065, after a nuclear explosion changes the world.

You can read about the project as it has developed here or watch our short film.
