Networked Narrative: Northern Powerhouse 2065 Leeds Exhibition

  • 14 June 2016 - 30 July 2016

Leeds Central Library, Calverley Street, LS1 3AB

Our Northern Powerhouse 2065 exhibition will be arriving to Leeds Central Library. Exploring a dystopian scenario created by young people from Burnley, Wigan and Hull, it introduces the public to ‘artefakes’, objects carefully selected by curators from the future, which provides the audience an insight to the online text adventure game Northern Powerhouse: Last Towns Standing.

Created by Re-Dock and the young people from Burnley, Wigan and Hull, the game explores the reality within those locations in the year 2065, after a nuclear explosion changes the world.

You can read about the project as it has developed here or watch our short film.
