Networked Narrative: Northern Powerhouse 2065 Hull Exhibition

  • 5 April 2016 - 7 May 2016

Hull Central Library, Albion Street, HU1 3TF

Currently on display in Hull Central Library, our touring exhibition Northern Powerhouse 2065 explores a dystopian scenario created by young people from Burnley, Wigan and Hull. The exhibition features 'artefakes', objects carefully selected by curators from the future, which provide the audience with an insight into the online text adventure game Northern Powerhouse: Last Towns Standing.

Created by Re-Dock and the young people from Burnley, Wigan and Hull, the game explores the reality within those locations in the year 2065, after a nuclear explosion changes the world. Play the game now.

You can read about the project as it has developed here or watch our short film.
