FACT and Liverpool Hope University Student Residency: Ant Hamlyn

  • 9 June 2015 - 31 August 2015

A 2015 graduate from Liverpool Hope University, Ant Hamlyn is the first recipient of the FACT and Hope University residency award.

During his time at FACT, Hamlyn will be working on a new work to be exhibited in a major exhibition at FACT in December 2015. The work will explore how social media can allow us to live in a paradoxical reality online, in which we can attain a false sense of belonging and temporary appreciation.

Hamlyn will work alongside FACTLab technologists in residence Thiago Hersan and Radamas Ajna to develop his project as well as being supported by FACTs curatorial and technical teams.

This residency is supported by FACT, the Liverpool Hope Vice Chancellor’s Initiative Fund and an Innovation Award from the University’s Learning & Teaching Committee.
