Using forms of popular culture most often found in kids' bedrooms, Zurkow and Stern make art that ranges from sinister and haunting to outrageously amusing. Zurkow translates the dark side of human nature into eye-popping, colourfully lush cartoons, while Stern makes videos that show how real-world politics are re-created in the video game playground.
