Michael is a Liverpool based artist currently exploring ideas of art perception, with character- driven narrative work, and influences rooted in comics and film.
 
Here he describes his work Good Morning, Mr Phelps which is on display at FACT.
 
"The character's positions and appearances aim to propel the themes of the narrative to the awareness of the audience. The format of a poster that exists to promote something dictates certain guidelines and requirements. Instead of fulfilling them, the need for these requirements has been exploited in favour of viral marketing realism"
