AND is an energetic regional festival of new cinema, digital culture and art featuring a mix of screenings, installations, online projects, residencies, public realm interventions and exhibitions; all with a distinctive emphasis on critique and ideas. The festival takes place annually in Liverpool and Manchester on alternate years, with an extended regional programme, and was formed in 2009 as a unique partnership between FACT and Cornerhouse and folly.

This year the festival will take place in Liverpool and rather than following a theme as such, it will reflect upon its own nature and value system, as a platform which pushes audience boundaries and foregrounds unconventional modes of artistic production.
