This new exhibition takes visitors on a journey through large-scale installations exploring the connections between art and science. Featuring work from four world-renowned international new media artists, our last exhibition of 2012 allows audiences to experience a light and sound show from a network of electric sparks, interact with the dramatic charges from Tesla coils, and explore the mysteries of the Wilberforce pendulum.
Winter Sparks features the awe-inspiring physics-based works of Canadian artist and composer Alexandre Burton, Dutch artist and academic Edwin van der Heide, and Spain-based Bosch & Simons, known for their complex 'music machines'.
Entry is free and the exhibition is open until 24 February 2013, 12pm - 6m Weekdays and Sunday and 11am - 6pm on Saturdays.
