Noisy Table launches 6 December with an exclusive Clinic DJ set

Interactive artwork Noisy Table, an augmented ping pong table that will make music and sounds as games are played, arrives in FACT on December 6; and who better to test it out than some of the city’s best-loved bands?

Bido Lito! and FACT are pleased to announce Bats & Bleeps: Bido Lito!'s Ping Pong Challenge. Featuring Clinic, Afternaut, Loved Ones, Organ Freeman, Ninetails, Dogshow, All We Are and Alpha Make Tea Party.

Over the next 10 weeks all 8 bands will compete to be crowned "Bats & Bleeps Champion!" in a round robin tournament concluding with the Grand Final in February 2013.

To launch Noisy Table and get the competition underway, we're incredibly happy to welcome Liverpool legends Clinic for an exclusive DJ set and atmospheric electronica artist Afternaut, who will be performing live. Free drinks on the night will be provided by Liverpool Organic Brewery.

All eight bands will appear in a game of round robin killer Ping Pong before Loved Ones and Clinic face off in the first competition match!

All the matches will be recorded and sampled into new pieces of music by both Clinic and Afternaut, which will be premiered at the Grand Final on 23 February. The audio from each match during the competition will be recorded and streamed at bidolito.co.uk, creating a series of audio match reports and an evolving document of the tournament.
