Tippi Hedren is an icon of 1960s cinema thanks to her starring
roles in Hitchcock's classics The Birds and
Marnie.
The actress and former model will be appearing at FACT live
via satellite on as she takes part in this special 'in conversation
event' at BFI Southbank. She will speak about her films and
memories of working as the muse of one of the most celebrated
directors in the history of cinema.
A Golden Globe winner for her work in The Birds, she
went on to claim Hitchcock ruined her career after she rejected his
advances. Tippi will talk about her contribution to new BBC and HBO
drama, The Girl, which tells the real life story of the
drama on set.
